Piano Instructor - Remote Job

Key Responsibilities

• Teach piano lessons to students across different skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
• Create personalized lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and learning goals of students.
• Use advanced virtual teaching platforms and resources to enhance lesson delivery.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to ensure students' growth and improvement.
• Maintain open communication with students and their families to monitor progress.
• Encourage and support students in developing both technical skills and musical expression.
• Adapt teaching methods based on the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

Requirements

• Education: A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, relevant teaching certifications or significant experience in teaching piano are acceptable.
• Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in teaching piano, either remotely or in person, with a strong understanding of various teaching techniques and methods.
• Skills:
• Proficient in piano performance, including classical and contemporary styles.
• Ability to teach both beginner and advanced students.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and music teaching software (e.g., Simply Piano, Flowkey, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain musical concepts clearly.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and levels.
• Technical Requirements:
• A reliable internet connection and a suitable device to conduct lessons (computer/tablet with camera and microphone).
• A professional and quiet space for teaching.
