Educational Background

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of prior experience teaching AP Human Geography or similar geography courses at the high school level.
• Expertise in both Physical Geography and Human Geography .
• Familiarity with the AP Human Geography exam format and strategies for preparing students for both multiple-choice questions and free-response questions (FRQs) .
• Ability to engage students in meaningful discussions, case studies, and real-world applications of geographic knowledge.
• Strong classroom management skills, both in-person and virtually.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex geographic concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in using online teaching tools and learning management systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, interactive whiteboards).

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in using digital tools such as Google Slides, Zoom, and interactive whiteboards.
• Proficiency in using Zoom for live teaching and interactive sessions.
• A reliable internet connection and professional teaching setup for virtual classes.
