• Current Certificate of Registration in good standing, or eligible for registration from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario within 6 months of hire. • Minimum of 200 hours working in direct PT patient care situations with neurological and/or orthopaedic conditions within the last 12 months (may include student placement hours). • Capable of coping with a physically demanding workload. (Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) available to review) • Must have a satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check.
Strength • Required Frequently – pushing/pulling with minimal force 5-15 minutes at time up to approx. 50 times a day • Required Occasionally – lifting average 0-5 pounds and maximum of 30 pounds range from knee to shoulder, carrying average 0-5 pounds, pushing/pulling Mobility • Required Often – standing • Required Frequently – sitting, walking, bending, on hard floor surface • Required Occasionally - stooping, lateral bending, foot activation, kneeling • Required Rarely - crouching, squatting, Dexterity • Required Frequently – both hands for reaching, fine finger movement, foot action, pinching, gripping/grasping, and eye/hand coordination
