Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, function, and quality of life
- Conduct home visits and document assessments and progress notes
- Educate patients and families on exercises, equipment use, and safe mobility techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Maintain clear communication with physicians, nurses, and caregivers
Requirements
- Valid Physiotherapy degree (Bachelor's or higher) from a recognized institution
- Eligibility for relevant UAE professional licensing (e.g., HAAD/DOH)
- Proven experience in physiotherapy, preferably in home healthcare, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, neurological, or geriatric care
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Proficiency in delivering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, pain management techniques, and use of assistive devices
- Ability to educate patients, families, and caregivers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfort with clinical documentation systems and electronic records

- Gulf International Medical Services L.L.C., founded in 2015, provides high quality home healthcare services across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- All nursing staff are HAAD licensed and trained in Basic Life Support and First Aid.
Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Physiotherapist role based in Abu Dhabi, focused on home based physiotherapy services.
- Assess patients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence based therapeutic interventions.
- Conduct home visits, document assessments and progress notes, educate patients and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Monitor treatment outcomes, adjust care plans, ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Physiotherapy degree (Bachelor’s or higher) from a recognized institution and eligibility for HAAD/DOH licensing.
- Proven experience in physiotherapy, preferably in home healthcare, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, neurological, or geriatric care.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including functional mobility assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and outcome evaluation.
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, pain management, and assistive devices.
- Ability to educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, safe transfers, and equipment usage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfort with clinical documentation systems and electronic records.
