About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments
- Review physician's referral and patient's condition to determine treatment
- Test and measure patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency
- Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation data
- Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function
- Administer treatments using physical agents like hydrotherapy, ultrasound, etc.
- Evaluate effects of treatment and adjust to achieve maximum benefit
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or computer
- Instruct patient and family in home treatment procedures
- Confer with physicians and other practitioners to integrate treatment
Requirements
- BS Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy (e.g., SCFHS/DHA)
- 0 2 years of experience as a physical therapist
- Good command of oral and written English
- Knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable
- Willing to work with multi cultural and physically handicapped clients
- Good organization skills and ability to work in high stress situations

Job Purpose

- Goal is to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Instruct patient and family in home treatment procedures.
- Confer with physician and other practitioners to integrate treatment.
- Orient, instruct, and direct work activities of assistants and aides.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy (e.g., SCFHS/DHA).
- 0 2 years of experience as a physical therapist.
- Good command of oral and written English; knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
- Willing to work with multi cultural and physically handicapped clients.
- Good organization skills and ability to work in high stress situations.
- Able to clearly communicate with patients, families, physicians, and non medical staff.
