Job Description
- The Assistant/Associate Professor will teach introductory philosophy and ethics courses and actively participate in departmental and college activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate skill and knowledge in teaching discipline.
- Participate in developing current programs and propose new programs.
- Develop syllabi for relevant courses.
- Review and evaluate textbooks and recommend learning materials.
- Employ and develop a variety of teaching materials to help students achieve course objectives.
- Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction using modern methodologies and techniques.
- Evaluate students to measure achievement of learning outcomes.
- Maintain student records and submit reports within required timelines.
- Use technology effectively for educational and administrative purposes.
- Teach courses at various times and locations as per college needs.
- Hold office hours for student needs.
- Actively participate in departmental and college activities and committees.
