Job Description
- The Assistant Professor in Psychology will teach undergraduate psychology courses and contribute to academic activities.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Psychology with regular study from a recognized university.
- At least three years of teaching experience at university or higher education level.
- Pass the college's selection criteria including personal interview or other tests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate skill and knowledge in teaching discipline.
- Develop syllabi for relevant courses.
- Participate in program development and propose new programs.
- Review and evaluate textbooks and recommend learning materials.
- Use and develop a variety of teaching materials to help students achieve course objectives.
- Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction using innovative methodologies.
- Evaluate students to measure achievement of learning outcomes.
- Maintain student records and submit reports within required timelines.
- Use technology effectively for educational and administrative purposes.
- Teach courses at various times and locations for male and female students as per college needs.
- Hold office hours for student needs.
- Actively participate in departmental and college activities and committees.
