Responsibilities
- Procure pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, surgical items, and healthcare products from approved suppliers
- Source new vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements
- Ensure continuous product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels
- Monitor stock movements and coordinate with pharmacies to prevent stock shortages and overstocking
- Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery notes, and purchase documentation
- Coordinate with warehouse and pharmacy teams regarding product receipts and discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, company policies, and quality standards
- Monitor product expiry dates and coordinate timely replenishment
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare procurement reports
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical distributors and manufacturers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of pharmacy purchasing experience in the UAE
- Experience working with hospitals, clinics, pharmacy chains, or healthcare groups
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical consumables, and UAE suppliers
- Familiarity with inventory management and ERP/pharmacy management systems
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation
- Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and purchasing practices preferred

Job Summary
