Pharmacy Assistant

The pharmacy team play a vital role in delivering safe, effective care and supporting each patient’s health journey.

Shifts will be between 7am - 8pm Monday - Sunday.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks

You will support a range of clinical and operational activities, including:

Work alongside the Pharmacy Technicians on medication rounds - there are 3 rounds per day, morning, lunchtime and early evening

Second checking and dispensing medication

Work in the pharmacy and on the wings with patients

Support nurses in clinic and treatment rooms

Working collaboratively with nurses, GPs, and wider healthcare professionals
