We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Hewell, a category B remand p rison located in Worcestershire.

The site currently offers a 7 day a week service and works on an 8 week rolling rota.
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £34,428 - £41,658 - depending on experience.

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician your responsibilities will vary. You will
Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service within the HMP site based on National (Divisional) policies supported with local standard operating protocols, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security..
Be an integral member of the Pharmacy Team, who forms part of the wider Cluster of Healthcare Services. PPG policies and procedures and statutory frameworks governing patient care in a prison setting will be used in order to deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.

GPhC registered Pharmacist.
Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond
Management and leadership experience (desirable).
Procurement and audit experience (desirable).
Relevant post qualifying experience working within a pharmacy environment.
Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
