Primary Job Responsibilities: -

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards, including Joint Commission International (JCI) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) requirements.
  • Manage Inpatient (IP) Pharmacy services independently, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications for admitted patients, with a focus on ophthalmology treatments including pre/post-operative care, ophthalmic formulations, injectables, and sterile preparations.
  • Handle the complete medication lifecycle, including procurement coordination, proper storage, dispensing, and rational use of medicines, with strict control and documentation of narcotics and controlled drugs.
  • Maintain and review pharmacy documentation, SOPs, protocols, and pharmacological guidelines to ensure compliance and standardization of practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels, expiry management, and ensure availability of critical medications, including maintaining emergency crash cart readiness.
  • Identify operational gaps and contribute to process improvements by supporting implementation of efficient workflows and quality initiatives.
  • Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless medication delivery for inpatient care.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, occupational health & safety (OHS), infection control, and environmental standards within the pharmacy.
  • Maintain professional competency and support knowledge sharing to uphold service quality.
  • Manage audit requirements, inspection readiness, and compliance documentation, including ISO-related indicators and regulatory reporting.
  • Address patient queries and complaints related to pharmacy services in coordination with healthcare teams.
  • Maintain pharmacy equipment, storage conditions, and inventory systems, report incidents, and ensure operational readiness.
  • Provide regular updates to management on operational challenges, compliance requirements, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
