Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide patients with counseling on medication usage, side effects, and storage requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, storage, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
• Participate in medication management initiatives and patient education programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid DOH licence as a pharmacist or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least two years of pharmacy experience is required; hospital experience is preferred.
