Role Overview
The Pet Professional Director for India acts as a strategic influencer and provides thought leadership to bring Royal Canin’s recommendation model to life.
The role is part of the demand function, partners with Pet Specialty Retail, Corporate Affairs, and Marketing, and reports to the India General Manager.
The role is part of the India market leadership team and is described as a feeder role to global, regional, and India General Manager positions.
Strategic Leadership
- Act as the business owner for veterinary professional channels and define the growth strategy for customer engagement and portfolio activation.
- Participate in key innovation strategy forums with cross-functional regional teams.
Portfolio Activation
- Lead the sick pet portfolio and make strategic decisions about where to play and how to win.
- Own diagnostics activation, deploy the sick pet winning equation, and recommend acceleration cases for incremental growth.
- Define and monitor NPL objectives for reach, awareness, recommendation rate, and sales.
- Own portfolio pricing strategy and champion the Vet Medicalization and Sick Pet campaign.
