Overview
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our growing pet shop in Dubai.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in grooming various dog and cat breeds and committed to providing excellent care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and de-shedding
- Assess pet condition and alert management or owners of any health or behavioral concerns
- Ensure safe handling techniques to keep pets calm and secure
- Maintain a clean, hygienic grooming area and follow salon safety standards
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming requests, coat conditions, and after-care recommendations
- Keep grooming tools and equipment clean, disinfected, and well-maintained
- Manage grooming appointments and ensure timely service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pet groomer, preferably with dogs and cats
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments safely
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in pet grooming is an advantage
- Fluency in English required; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog) are a plus
