About the Department
Under the supervision of the Fitness Coordinator, the Personal Trainer provides individualized fitness assessments, personalized training programs, and one-on-one coaching for members of the Monarch Recreation Center. The position ensures safe, effective, and motivating exercise experiences while helping members work toward their fitness goals.
Position Duties
- Designs and delivers tailored fitness programs for clients. Evaluates fitness levels and identifies coaching needs. Assists with general member guidance on the fitness floor. Ensures fitness area is clean and safe for use. Supports revenue targets through training sales and member engagement. Remains accessible via cell phone to address job-related issues or emergencies using City applications. Other duties, as assigned.
