The Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides essential personal care and assistance to clients in their homes or retirement home setting, supporting them with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Working under the direction of a regulated health care professional, the PSW plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, client-centred care in alignment with Carefor’s mission and values.

For our staff to hold themselves accountable to the highest level of accountability to their profession, we encourage our personal support workers register with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA).
