Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Embrun

As a condition of employment, certain Part‑Time positions require employees to have reliable access to a motor vehicle during working hours and to maintain a valid driver’s license.

Employees are responsible for ensuring that any vehicle used for work purposes is safe, in good working order, and properly insured in accordance with applicable laws and organizational requirements.

• Personal Support Worker Certificate (or equivalent qualification -Internationally educated nurse (IEN)/ RPN student – 1st year/ RN student – 2nd year )
• Valid driver’s license and full access to a vehicle
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Clear vulnerable sector police check
• Experience in home care, retirement homes, or long-term care (asset)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment (asset)
• Ability to service clients in any geographical area when the need arises (asset)
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible in accepting a variety of assignments (asset)

• Enhanced Palliative Care certificate (asset)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (asset)
• Registered PSW with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (asset)
