- Maintain the quality of applications brought in for satisfactory approval rates
- Maintain product mix to ensure profitability of business
- Proactively work towards satisfying the needs of the customer
- Ensure adherence to Credit and Policy guidelines in sourcing customers
- Manage bulk sourcing of customers from corporate sector and exploit sales opportunities
- Follow documentation policy guidelines while accepting documents from customers
- Interact with Team Leader regarding expectations and target achievements
Requirements
- 1 year sales experience
- Basic knowledge of products, service policies and processes of Retail Banking
- Sales profile requiring confidence, persistence, and verbal/written communication skills

Key Result Areas
- Maintain the quality of applications brought in for satisfactory approval rates.
- Maintain Product mix to ensure profitability of business.
- Proactively work towards satisfying the needs of the customer.
- Ensure adherence to Credit and Policy guidelines in sourcing customers by maintaining quality of applicants and proper documentation.
- Manage bulk sourcing of customers from corporate sector and exploiting sales opportunities by translating them into fruitful business relationships.
- Follow the documentation policy guidelines while accepting the documents from the customer.
- Interaction with Team Leader regarding expectations and to ensure target achievements.
Operating Environment
- Competitive, dynamic, volatile and regulated business environment with low entry/exit barriers.
- The job holder will be operating within well defined and demarcated business areas and is required to adhere to the policies and guidelines set out in the Bank’s Credit Policy Manual.
- Candidate must effectively/actively liaise with his superiors and direct reports within the business unit to achieve business objectives.
- Works in an environment of daily reporting with six days working.
Problem Solving
- Sales require understanding customers’ individual financial circumstances.
- Responsible for assisting staff and customers in achieving their goals and objectives.
Decision Making Authority & Responsibility
- Responsible for honestly assisting the customer in achieving his objectives through courteous and friendly service, accurate promises keeping within the service delivery standards set by the bank.
- Should have complete product & policy information to ensure necessary documents are provided by the customer before submission to ensure smooth TAT.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Sales profile that require confidence, persistence, personality and verbal written.
- Basic knowledge of products, service policies and processes of Retail Banking.
- Any discipline with 1 year sales experience.
