DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Permit Manager to join the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) at Ormeau.
You'll lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of the project's Permit to Work (PTW) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) systems , working across construction and commissioning teams to ensure work is properly planned, isolated, authorised and executed.
This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of safety, construction and commissioning. You'll work closely with engineers, Project Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and the LOTO team, providing technical guidance while coordinating permits and isolations across complex work interfaces. You'll also play a key role during shutdowns, energisation activities and work scopes involving multiple permits or energy sources.

Trade qualification aligned to construction, infrastructure, utilities, commissioning, maintenance or a related project environment
Proven experience managing Permit to Work systems on major infrastructure, construction or industrial projects
Strong working knowledge of LOTO, isolation management and energy control procedures across construction and commissioning environments
Experience coordinating complex permit requirements with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, project teams and client representatives
Strong understanding of high-risk work environments, safety legislation, compliance requirements and permit governance
Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities and complex work interfaces
