(PERMANENT FULL-TIME) PHARMACIST

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy. • License to practice Pharmacy in Ontario • Registration, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Pharmacists • Current knowledge of drug therapies and best practice clinical guidelines • Good knowledge of all legislation governing practice of pharmacy. • Strong clinical assessment skills in identifying and solving drug related problems. • Proven ability to work within Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team • Proven excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral/written communication skills • Proven ability to provide above average counseling to staff, patients and families • Demonstrated ability to provide supervisory and preceptorship role • Demonstrated excellent organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution and critical thinking abilities. • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position. • Proven good attendance record with the capability of maintaining this same standard. • Experience with drug therapies for psychiatric illnesses an asset. • Hospital pharmacy experience an asset • Knowledge of Meditech or comparable system an asset. • Completion of a hospital residency program an asset
