Role Overview
Adree is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to lead performance testing initiatives across enterprise applications.
The role requires hands-on performance engineering, workload modeling, and test automation experience to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop performance test strategies, roadmaps, standards, templates, quality gates, and entry and exit criteria.
- Create workload models from business volumes, usage patterns, architecture, service-level objectives, and non-functional requirements.
- Plan and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, capacity, spike, and volume tests across web, mobile back ends, APIs, integrations, and digital services.
- Develop and maintain performance-test scripts, scenarios, parameterization, correlation, test data, and reusable components.
- Coordinate test-environment, monitoring, access, data, and service-virtualization readiness with DevOps and infrastructure teams.
- Analyze monitoring data across clients, servers, databases, networks, containers, and applications to isolate bottlenecks and root causes.
- Evaluate performance metrics and SLA compliance, then provide technical recommendations and release guidance.
- Integrate performance tests and thresholds into delivery pipelines and create baseline and trend reporting.
- Lead defect triage and tuning discussions with development, architecture, DBA, SRE, infrastructure, network, and security teams.
- Prepare test plans, status updates, executive summaries, detailed reports, risks, and release recommendations.
