Overview of Role
The Performance Advisor is a senior stakeholder supporting WestJet's operational transformation.
The role partners with frontline leaders and functional teams to translate strategy into day-to-day performance.
The position combines analysis, initiative coordination, and stakeholder engagement to achieve measurable operational results.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Operational Performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage transformation initiatives, including opportunity identification, assessment, prioritization, and roadmapping.
- Lead prioritized initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives and WestJet's long-range plan.
- Support decision-making through performance analysis, process redesign, and implementation support.
- Apply Lean, Agile, and continuous improvement methods to diagnose root causes and track outcomes.
- Facilitate steering committees, working groups, and stakeholder workshops while providing informal leadership and coaching.
