Role Overview

The role drives pediatric surgical business development, physician outreach, and regional market expansion for DCMC pediatric specialties.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The listed salary range is $82,825 to $115,453 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute targeted physician outreach and market expansion plans.
  • Build relationships with pediatric surgeons and communicate specialized clinical offerings and value propositions.
  • Execute individual practice growth strategies.
  • Use CRM platforms and healthcare analytics to assess referrals, market share, competitors, and outreach ROI.
  • Identify operational barriers affecting referral workflows and surgical access.
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to improve the referring provider experience.
  • Convert primary care physician relationships into surgical referral pathways.
  • Align clinical capacity and surgical block times with outreach expansion in partnership with leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma equivalency with three years of cumulative experience, an associate or bachelor's degree with two years of cumulative experience, or seven years of applicable job-specific experience is required.
  • Three years of leadership or management experience is preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Healthcare sales, physician liaison, medical practice development, or clinical operations experience is required.
  • Pediatric or surgical specialty experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to build credibility with pediatric surgeons, primary care physicians, and health system executives is required.
  • Strong CRM, market intelligence, and referral metrics skills are required.
  • Cross-functional collaboration across clinical operations, executives, and community providers is required.
  • Strong organization and territory management skills are required.

Workplace and Schedule
