Role Overview
The role is for a PCN PAUT Inspector working with phased-array ultrasonic testing and related nondestructive testing methods.
The position focuses on piping and pipeline inspection scopes.
Qualifications
- ASNT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing is required.
- Gulf experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PAUT calibration processes is required.
- The candidate must be able to develop NDT procedures.
- Excellent understanding of piping and pipeline inspection scopes is required.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in NDT Setup Builder and BeamTool software is required.
- Strong knowledge of inspection codes and standards is required.
- Hands-on experience with probes, wedges, and scanners is required.
- Good English communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform PCN PAUT and related ultrasonic inspection activities for piping and pipeline scopes.
- Calibrate PAUT equipment and configure inspection setups using appropriate probes, wedges, and scanners.
- Develop NDT procedures in accordance with applicable inspection codes and standards.
