The PCB and Layout Designer supports the design, modification, and maintenance of PCB layouts for GNSS and RF-based products.
The role primarily uses Altium Designer and supports product updates, component changes, prototype development, and documentation.
The successful candidate may expand into prototype assembly and board validation activities over time.
Responsibilities
- Design and modify PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
- Update existing designs for component substitutions and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with RF, hardware, and systems engineers.
- Create PCB documentation, fabrication files, and design records.
- Perform design reviews, design rule checks, and manufacturability verification.
- Support schematic capture to PCB layout implementation.
- Assist with prototype assembly, SMT rework, board bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting.
