Indigo Park Canada is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations across Canada. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you will lead a team of payroll professionals and play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services.
Responsibilities
Manage the full cycle of bi-weekly Canadian payroll across all provinces.
Lead,coach, and develop a team of payroll professionals, creating an environment where team members can grow, contribute, and succeed.
Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal and provincial legislation, collective agreements, and company policies.
Administer payroll through ADP Workforce Now and Enhanced Scheduler (Time & Attendance).
Prepare, review, and validate payroll-related reports, including internal, external, and month-end reporting.
Manage complex payroll transactions, including retroactive payments, bonuses, taxable benefits, and other compensation elements.
Lead payroll reconciliations and support internal and external audits, as required.
Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless payroll processing and exceptional employee support.
Manage the administration of group benefits, pension plans, and related payroll deductions.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, systems, and overall efficiency.
Stay current on payroll legislation, regulatory changes, and industry best practices across Canada.
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Payroll Manager or in a senior payroll leadership role.
Proven experience managing high-volume Canadian payroll operations.
