Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely monthly payroll execution.
- Oversee payroll processing activities including salaries, allowances, overtime, leave, deductions, and EOSB in line with UAE Labour Law.
- Ensure full compliance with WPS regulations, including review and submission of SIF files.
- Validate payroll outputs, reconciliations, and payroll reports prepared by the team before final approval.
- Manage payroll journal entries and ensure accurate posting into SAP ERP systems.
- Act as the key liaison between HR and Finance for payroll inputs, cost allocations, budgeting, and approvals.
- Lead payroll audits, ensuring strong internal controls, documentation, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Monitor leave balances, final settlements, provisions, and payroll-related accruals.
- Handle complex payroll queries and escalations from employees and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements within SAP and HRMS tools.
- Prepare management-level payroll reports and MIS dashboards using advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros preferred).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of payroll experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Strong expertise in UAE Labour Law, WPS, and EOSB calculations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills (reporting, dashboards, data analysis).
- Experience in multi-entity and large workforce payroll environments.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
