Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within the established payroll schedule
- Review attendance records, leave balances, overtime, deductions, and other payroll related data prior to processing
- Calculate salaries, allowances, commissions, bonuses, and deductions in accordance with company policies
- Prepare end of service benefits, leave settlements, and other employee financial entitlements
- Generate payroll reports and prepare bank transfer files for salary payments
- Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll related accounts
- Prepare monthly payroll reports and support financial analysis related to payroll expenses
- Coordinate with HR regarding employee records, new hires, resignations, promotions, and salary changes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory payroll requirements
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits
- Maintain payroll records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll related documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 3 years of experience in payroll accounting or related accounting role
- Experience with ERP systems or payroll software preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of labor laws and social insurance regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Job Purpose
- To ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll while maintaining compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and financial procedures. The Payroll Accountant is responsible for payroll calculations, reconciliations, reporting, and maintaining the confidentiality of payroll
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within the established payroll schedule.
- Review attendance records, leave balances, overtime, deductions, and other payroll related data prior to payroll processing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications are considered an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in payroll accounting or a related accounting role.
- Experience with ERP systems or payroll software is preferred.
