Responsibilities
- Drive payment product development and management for the country identifying and assessing relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to define strategies for revenue growth
- Provide strategic insight and recommendations on innovative payment product development, targeting, and segmentation strategies
- Manage all elements of the product development life cycle from ideation to launch and post launch optimization
- Lead the implementation of new FMIs (Financial Market Infrastructures) and schemes, ensuring smooth integration and compliance
- Create epics and detailed business requirements, translating strategic objectives and regulatory requirements into actionable development tasks for technology teams
- Assess current system capabilities and collaborate closely with technology teams on solutioning
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Technology teams on new payment product rollouts, enhancements, and process improvements
- Review new and existing regulations, conduct thorough impact assessments, and develop comprehensive action plans to ensure continuous compliance
- Manage and deliver regulatory projects within strict timelines
- Oversee product financial performance, identifying opportunities and gaps, and developing robust business strategies to drive portfolio growth and profitability
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation, capability grids, policies, and procedures
- Act as a subject matter expert for payment products, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders and contributing to client engagement
Requirements
- At minimum 4 years of relevant experience in product management or product development within the financial services industry preferably within GCC markets
- Demonstrated knowledge of payment product development, financial analysis, and product management principles
- Proven experience in driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to achieve results
- Experience working with technology and operations teams on new product rollouts and process improvements
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, scheme rulebooks, specifications, and governance approval processes relevant to payment products in the country
- Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree or University degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field

- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated influencing skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross functional teams, clients, regulatory bodies, and scheme organizations
- Bachelor's degree or University degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Arabic speaking preferred
