Overview
- Whizmo is your all in one mobile money solution in the UAE. The Manager Payments Operations drives end to end operational excellence across system level service configurations, third party vendor coordination, Payroll and WPS operation activities and card operation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Configuration & Management: Own and manage service configurations across internal and External systems. Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of products, services, limits, fees and control parameters. Coordinate with IT and Product teams for configuration changes, enhancements, and releases
- Third Party Coordination & SLA Management: Act as the primary point of contact for third party service providers. Define, monitor, and enforce SLAs. Conduct regular service reviews, performance assessments, and escalation management. Coordinate issue resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and preven
- Payroll & WPS Operations: Manage end to end payroll processing and WPS file submissions in compliance with UAE Central Bank / MOHRE regulations. Ensure timely validation and submission of payroll salary processing. Handle payroll exceptions, rejections and refunds. Coordinate with Central bank, WPS

Requirements

- Proven capability in managing third party vendors, monitoring SLAs, handling escalations, and driving timely issue resolution.
- In depth understanding of card lifecycle management, transaction processing, chargebacks, settlements, and scheme compliance (Visa, Mastercard, Jaywan).
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, WPS file handling, reconciliations, exceptions, and regulatory requirements.
- Effective collaboration with internal teams (Technology, Product, Compliance, Finance) and external partners.
- Experience in improving operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and scalable process design.
- Clear communication, strong documentation skills, and ability to lead operational teams and initiatives.
