Responsibilities: - Patrol properties to ensure safety and enforce parking regulations. - Serve as a Customer Service Representative, assisting customers on-site and handling calls. - Maintain close communication with dispatch using a two-way radio or cell phone. - Relay information about incidents or emergencies to the appropriate personnel. - Issue warnings and citations for improperly parked vehicles. - Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes. - Report hazardous conditions like missing traffic signs or street markings. - Identify and report suspicious objects or vehicles. - Monitor environmental conditions for potential hazards such as ice. - Use a hand-held device to input and retrieve vehicle information. - Investigate and address complaints related to contested parking citations. - Keep detailed operational records including activity logs and contested citations. - Collect fees from parking meters. - Maintain and manage assigned equipment. - Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues to the Manager. - Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
