The Patient Service Coordinator Lead plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the physician practice and ensuring a positive, efficient experience for patients and team members.
Provide back-up support to the Clinic Administrator in the daily operations of the practice's business office functions.
Serve as a lead resource for Patient Service Coordinators and provide guidance and support with daily administrative operations.
Ensure patient demographics, insurance information, charges, and collections are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently while helping optimize clinic schedules and patient access.
Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, professional experience for patients and families.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, providers, coworkers, and other members of the healthcare team.
Use strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve scheduling, registration, insurance, billing, and patient-service concerns.
Assist with resolving escalated patient concerns and determine when issues should be referred to the Clinic Administrator or appropriate department.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling confidential patient and financial information.
