Opportunity Highlights
Virtual inpatient care
ICU collaboration – support both closed and open ICU environments
Collaboration with the onsite multidisciplinary team of bedside RNs and APPs
Enjoy the consistency of a 7on/7off schedule without the commute
Candidate Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
- Active North Carolina Medical License (or ability to obtain), prefer South Carolina Medical License as well (or ability to obtain)
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and multi-monitor set ups, plus demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a virtual environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully across an interdisciplinary team
- Experience in hospital medicine
- Experience working in a telehealth/virtual care setting preferred
- Must live in a state approved in the Novant Health Hiring Footprint
Responsibilities & Duties
- Virtual admission and discharges
- Clinical rounding
- Cross-regional flexibility
- Emergency response – virtual “first-responder” support when requested by onsite staff
