Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and execution of creative, seasonal, and diverse menu items
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Assist in training, guiding, and managing kitchen staff
- Help manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Monitor and maintain quality of all dishes served, ensuring consistency and excellence
- Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling food costs, and implementing efficient practices
- Support Executive Chef in working with clients to understand catering needs and preferences
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation
- Ensure preventive maintenance is conducted and documented; follow up on corrective maintenance
- Hold overall accountability for location in absence of Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef

Position Overview

- Proactive leader who can effectively support the Executive Chef and contribute to smooth kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Execution: Assist in preparation and execution of creative, seasonal, and diverse menu items.
- Kitchen Supervision: Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Staff Support: Assist in training, guiding, and managing kitchen staff; foster positive team environment.
- Inventory Management: Help manage inventory levels, order supplies, ensure proper storage and handling.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality of all dishes served; address food quality issues.
- Cost Control: Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling food costs, implementing efficient practices.
- Client Interaction: Support Executive Chef in working with clients to understand catering needs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling, sanitation.
- Operational Support: Provide support in all operational aspects; take on leadership as needed.
- Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance is conducted and documented; follow up on corrective maintenance.
- Full Operational Responsibility: Hold overall accountability for location in absence of Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.
Pay
- Pay: ﷼4,000.00 ﷼4,500.00 per month.
