Job Summary
Prepare high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining hygiene and presentation standards.
Work creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced cafe and play-area environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Decorate products to company standards and customer requests.
- Develop recipes and seasonal menu items.
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage stock and ingredient inventory, control food costs, and reduce wastage.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized and follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with birthday cakes, events, party packages, and special orders.
Requirements
- Proven Pastry Chef or Baker experience, including three years of Pastry Chef experience.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert presentation.
- Customized cake design ability is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Team-oriented communication skills and a flexible schedule for possible weekend and holiday work.
License and Certification
- Basic Hygiene Certificate is required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500 per month.
- The stated offer includes visa and air ticket.
Work Location
- Work location is in person at Gate Avenue 4, DIFC, Dubai.
