Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, cookies, desserts, and specialty baked products
- Decorate cakes and desserts according to company standards and customer requirements
- Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented consistently and attractively
- Develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menu items
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and taste
- Organize and manage daily pastry production schedules
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry section
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ingredient requisitions
- Minimize food waste and control production costs
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dessert preparation, and cake decoration
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Summary
- The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting high quality pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked products in accordance with company standards.
- The role ensures consistency, food safety, quality control, and efficient kitchen operations while maintaining creativity and innovation in pastry production.
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Production
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, cookies, desserts, and specialty baked products.
- Decorate cakes and desserts according to company standards and customer requirements.
