Repair vehicle dents, dings, and hail damage using paintless dent repair techniques while preserving the original factory finish.
Work as a detail-oriented technician in an automotive repair shop or collision center.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality PDR on customer vehicles, including small dents, dings, and hail damage.
- Inspect damage and determine suitable repair methods.
- Use specialized tools to remove dents without affecting vehicle paintwork.
- Meet company and industry standards for safety and quality.
- Communicate repair status and timelines to service advisors, estimators, and customers.
- Maintain the work area and company tools and equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and workplace procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven PDR Technician experience is preferred, with two to three years preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of PDR tools and techniques is required.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision is required.
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship is required.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- PDR certification or formal training is a plus.
Required Skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Work Environment
- The role is based in an automotive repair shop or collision center.
- The work requires standing, bending, and using tools for extended periods.
- Personal protective equipment is used as required.
