Position Summary
Experienced Painting Supervisor responsible for painting and finishing works at project sites.
The role covers quality finishing, manpower management, coordination, and timely completion of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise painting and finishing works according to approved drawings, specifications, colour schedules, and quality standards.
- Allocate daily tasks, manage painters and subcontractors, and monitor manpower utilization.
- Inspect surfaces and oversee putty, sanding, primer, surface treatment, and coating application.
- Check colour shades, consistency, coverage, defects, and final finishing quality.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, joinery, MEP, and other trades.
- Protect completed surfaces and coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover.
- Monitor material consumption, minimize wastage, and coordinate paint requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping and enforce site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Prepare daily progress updates covering delays, manpower, materials, and quality concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Painting Supervisor or similar position in an interior fit-out company.
- Strong knowledge of interior painting, finishing techniques, MEP works, surface preparation, paint systems, and materials.
