- Apply paint, varnish, or finishes to hotel walls, ceilings, and furniture using brush, spray gun, or roller
- Apply primer or coating to prepare surfaces for finish coats
- Remove old paint layers by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, sandblasting, and/or water
- Properly protect surfaces during painting and post appropriate warning signs
- Clean and store paint, tools, and equipment in designated areas
- Communicate with supplier to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors
- Follow all safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Greet and receive guests according to brand standards, anticipate needs, and assist persons with disabilities
Requirements
- Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg independently
- Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods
