Responsibilities
- Participate in managing/monitoring employee relations issues, including resolution and follow up
- Assist and help management and supervisors manage and resolve HR issues
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national legislation and company policies
- Inform HR management of employee relations issues
- Answer questions, requests, and problems from employees and management regarding HR programs and policies
- Inform employees about employer/employee relations, proposed employee activities, and personnel programs and policies
- Verify and ensure all personnel records and files are up to date (e.g., interview documents, I 9)
- Participate in planning, managing, and organizing logistics of annual employee surveys
- Answer phone calls and take messages
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Follow and enforce all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- Maintain confidentiality of hotel information
Recommended Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Related work experience: At least 1 year
- Supervisory experience: At least 1 year
- License or Certification: None
