- Apply paint, stain and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers
- Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats
- Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water/abrasive blasting
- Cover surfaces with protective material and post paint signs
- Clean up and store paint and tools appropriately
Requirements
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and work on ladders
