PAINTER

To provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support related to the Paint department.

• Prepare surfaces to be painted or sealed as requested by the working instructions using abrasives, solvents, and brushes.
• Installs masking for strips or other aircraft painting detail.
• Mixes stirs and thins paint or other coatings, using spatula or power mixing equipment.
• Perform spraying of base and top coatings assuring compliance with technical and quality requirements

Education: General: high school, GED & understand, read and write English

Experience: 3-5 years

Skills: Basic knowledge of sanding and prepping of parts ready for coating application.

Ability to show adequate communication skills to a diverse group of people
