Role Overview
- Accountable to Primary Line Manager with direct access to Secondary Line Manager
- Provide independent route to address issues within Component Paint Shop maintenance environment
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in reviews of maintenance and challenge current practices
- Recognize malpractice affecting airworthiness or safety and raise concerns
- Highlight deficiencies in facilities resources
- Monitor standards of personnel to identify negative trends or non conformities
- Provide consolidation and counterpart development activities to RSAF and BAE Systems personnel
- Ensure tasks completed within designated timeframes to support Forward Maintenance and SMU activities
- Report operational readiness of shop equipment and highlight necessary calibrations
- Ensure correct tooling and approved data are available
- Raise appropriate media for deficiencies in approved data
- Ensure authorization to undertake maintenance activities prior to commencing work
- Report damage or deficiencies to equipment and infrastructure
- Maintain anti FOD surveillance and report potential hazards
