Experience supporting manufacturing operations in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO), custom fabrication, or project-based manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications to support planning, sourcing, outsourcing, and production execution activities.
Working knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, assembly, painting/coating, and outsourced manufacturing operations.
Working knowledge of should cost tools, make-versus-buy costing tools.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication prints, weld symbols, dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
Understanding of how fabrication processes, routing structures, material requirements, and production lead times impact planning, scheduling, capacity utilization, and supplier performance.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical and manufacturing-related issues.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain, procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, manufacturing operations, or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP), Production Control and Shop Floor Scheduling, Inventory Management, Procurement and Supplier Management, and Warehousing and Transportation Operations
Demonstrated success implementing cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
Advanced experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data analysis.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field preferred.
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or other professional supply chain certifications preferred.
