Role Overview
Nedco is hiring an Outside Sales Representative based in Burlington, Ontario.
The role focuses on building a territory, winning new accounts, growing existing customer relationships, and supporting electrical distribution sales.
Essential Duties
- Prospect and onboard new accounts and develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer base.
- Conduct weekly account visits to achieve account coverage goals and develop an opportunity pipeline supporting monthly sales objectives.
- Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Regional Sales Manager and scheduled team meetings.
- Document sales activities in the company CRM on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate customer service between project, branch, and operational teams.
- Build and establish a territory through proactive new-business development.
Qualifications
- Two to three years of sales experience in electrical distribution or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Candidates must be able to build and maintain productive relationships and demonstrate achievement of sales targets.
- Outstanding communication skills and excellent negotiation skills are required.
- Experience with CRM software is required.
