Technical Skills & Knowledge

Understanding and/or interest in fiber-optic cabling, installation, and electrical background

Basic computer, networking, and home technology knowledge

Experience using industry tools and equipment such as drills, cable cutters, splicers, and hammer drills

Ability to read prints and follow color-coded routing plans

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and being outdoors.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet and hand-climb utility poles using gaffs

Ability to work in confined spaces, including manholes

Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in physically demanding environments

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly carry up to 25 pounds

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to maintain insurability under company auto insurance guidelines

Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Compensation:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly pay range for this position is between $22.00 - $27.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
