What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of home networking concepts and network architecture
Knowledge of network equipment, including routers and switches
Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional email communication skills
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
Ability to work independently and effectively manage changing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an ISP, telecommunications, technical support, or network operations environment
Familiarity with ISP infrastructure and field operations
Experience using command-line interfaces and troubleshooting tools
Database experience
Experience with mapping or GIS systems
Associate degree or related two-year technical degree
CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
CompTIA Tech+ certification required
Work Environment & Schedule
- Our Network Operations Center provides coverage between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and team members must be flexible to work non-traditional business hours as needed, including:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Regular on-call rotations
