About the Role

- Research, prospect, and develop potential connections through cold calls, emails, and social media
- Respond to inbound inquiries about BioTalent Canada’s programs and projects
- Actively engage with employers and key industry players for participation in programs and projects
- Research leads/prospects to identify key contacts and qualify opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships using active listening to understand employer needs
- Transfer qualified opportunities to appropriate team members for further business development
- Track all activity and progress in the CRM system
- Prioritize lead generation efforts alongside regular requirements
- Assist with other project deliverables and teams as required
Requirements
- 2 years inside sales/outreach marketing experience or related experience
- Post secondary degree/diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with MS Suite, digital tools including the use of AI, and experience with CRMs
- Strong active listening skills and confident presentation skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

About The Role
- The Outreach Representative plays a key role in increasing awareness of and participation in BioTalent Canada’s employer support programs and research projects.
- This is a 1 year contract, with the possibility of permanency.
What You’ll Do
- Research, prospect, and develop potential connections through cold calls, emails, and social media.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in both of Canada’s official languages.
- Knowledge of/experience in the bioscience/healthcare industry in Canada.
Our Work Environment
- BioTalent Canada offers a hybrid, collaborative work environment, with regular in person connection from our Ottawa office. This role requires a minimum of two days per week onsite.

- A starting base salary range: CAD 51,931 CAD 57,701.
