About The Role

  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager, Product and Technology is responsible for leading the development, evolution, and continuous improvement of BioTalent Canada’s products, systems, and technology enabled services.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead product ownership and lifecycle management.
  • Refine and scale existing products, and develop new products and services.
  • Own and optimize existing workflows, systems, and products.
  • Coordinate cross functional initiatives end to end.
  • Assess technology debt and recommend practical actions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and user experiences.
  • Lead the implementation and application of AI solutions.
  • Manage and develop the Technology Integration team.
  • Develop and manage a network of technology and platform partners.
  • Act as an informed internal product and technology lead when working with external consultants and vendors.
  • Contribute to organizational planning.

  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and customer journey design.

  • Strong technical foundation.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing, coaching and developing team members.
  • Experience orchestrating delivery through external consultants, suppliers, or vendors.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated interest and aptitude in artificial intelligence (AI).

Our Work Environment

  • BioTalent Canada offers a hybrid, collaborative work environment, with regular in person connection from our Ottawa office. This role requires a minimum of two days per week onsite.

  • A starting base salary range: CAD 80,000 CAD 100,000.
