The Job at a Glance

As the Overage Shortage & Damage Specialists, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our inventory to guarantee that we have the parts our customers need when they need them.

Our OSD Specialists work closely with both manufacturers and our internal teams at Parts Town to solve shipping discrepancies.

You will also be responsible for maintaining quality control by regulating damaged parts and verifying parts identification.

• Manage overages, shortages, or damaged shipments in the Fulfillment Center to ensure quality and accuracy of Parts Town’s inventory
• Update inventory and purchase order information so that it is accurately reflected in internal systems
• Determine the proper action for all inbound inventory with discrepancies
• Handle escalated discrepancies in parts identification from Receiving team to verify that the correct parts are placed into inventory
